Alex Joseph

Coach Alex Joseph brings a wealth of experience to the wrestling community, having dedicated over 30 years to the sport and coaching since 2008. His versatile coaching career spans various roles, including club coach, high school assistant coach, volunteer college coach, and head coach at three distinguished high schools.
Among Coach Alex’s most notable achievements is leading the Broomfield Eagles to victory in the 2013 4A Colorado State Team Championship. He also guided the nationally ranked Stillwater Pioneers to secure the 2015 6A Oklahoma State Dual Championship. Furthermore, he played a pivotal role in coaching the Cathedral Irish to consecutive Indiana State Team Titles in 2017 and 2018.
In addition to his high school accomplishments, Coach Alex has contributed to collegiate wrestling as an alumni volunteer coach for the University of Northern Colorado during the 2013-2014 season. Most recently, he assisted in coaching the Ponderosa Mustangs to a runner-up finish in the Colorado State Team Championship in 2024. Coach Alex’s impressive coaching pedigree and commitment to developing athletes make him a respected figure in the wrestling arena.

Coach Alex is from Parker, CO and he wrestled collegiately at the University of Northern Colorado
He competed internationally at the Dave Schultz Memorial Tournament and the US Open at 84 kg
Coaching
My favorite part of coaching is developing meaningful relationships through the sport. I’m grateful for the opportunity to help athletes become great human beings as well as wrestlers. For me it’s not about winning or losing, it’s about the way an athlete competes and the person they become.
